My Lecturer Art Show

My Lecturer Art Show (MLAS) is an annual event dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the contributions of Nigerian art educators in tertiary institutions. Established in 2023, the platform honors their significant impact on the country’s artistic landscape.

The mission of MLAS is to provide a prestigious platform for art educators to showcase their artistic expression, share their passion, and perpetuate their commitment to arts education. By doing so, the event aims to foster artistic excellence and advance the arts in Nigeria.

MLAS is a collaborative effort between Iwalewa Gallery of Art and Ogirikan Art Gallery, two renowned institutions with a shared vision for promoting artistic discourse and cultural exchange. Both galleries have a distinguished history of curating impactful exhibitions, including the highly successful Miniature Art Fair in Lagos.
