We have been alerted that individuals are fraudulently using the name “Iwalewa” / “IWALEWA artgallery” and falsely claiming affiliation with Caterpillar Inc. under a so-called “Art Acquisition & Exhibition Programme (2024–2029).” Please be advised: We are NOT affiliated with any Caterpillar acquisition program. We do NOT conduct business through unsolicited WhatsApp or informal messages promising instant payments. The following numbers have been reported for fraudulent activity: +2347064150843, +2348165541569. Any request for banking details, payments, or sensitive information under these claims is a scam. This is a case of identity theft, impersonation, and attempted financial fraud. We hereby urge all artists, collectors, and partners to: *Verify identities through official channels *Be cautious of unsolicited corporate acquisition offers *Report suspicious messages immediately.
